I have been a beer drinker for 5 years now and started off drinking big beer company beer like Miller and Budweiser then I found real beer. The beginning of 2007 started drinking much larger variety of different styles of beer and brands from around the world. Since that first taste of a beautiful well rounded flavor packed micro brew I have been hooked. Living in Wisconsin I have a nice selection of micro brew beers that are local and am lucky for that. Watching the video blog Wine Library TV and Gary’s passion for wine started bring out the ideas for The Beer Library which the name just stuck out and flew with the idea. What inspired me to start “The Beer Library” was listening to podcasts called Beer School which also turned me onto another show called What Ale’s Thee? and listening to these guys talk about beer the way that I do just gave me the kick in the ass to get my voice out there. I will also be joined from a few friends of mine from time to time so they can tell you what they are tasting. Hope that this site inspired you to go out and try a well crafted beer that is made down the street from you. Enjoy the site and spread the joy of beer.
