Pauwel Kwak

June 30, 2007

ABV: 8%

Color: Dark reddish amber with a thick off white head.

The smell on this is full of malt and a small amount of floral hops in the background. A great well balanced flavor has a mild sweet malty front then as swallowed you get some bitter on the back of the tongue that comes together to make such a wonderful flavor. This is the most impressive Belgian beer I have ever had being higher in alcohol there is no warming to this at all. Overall great balance of taste and aroma.

Recommendation: Seek it out and buy a few bottles to have around.

Rating: 10/10
