New Glarus Unplugged Quadruple

June 19, 2007

Color:  Light amber with a thick white head.

A mild roasted malt and a little sour background. Light malty flavor almost no hops in this but a definite oak flavor with slight bourbon background flavor. If a bourbon barrel aged beer to to overwhelming for you then this is a good one to try to get the ability to handle a strong bourbon flavored beer. Overall a nice mild flavor in all respects and a beer that is an occasional beer nothing I would drink all the time.

Recommendation:  Not a session beer but worth a try.

Rating:  6.5/10
